No favours for AP & Telangana in Railway Budget

Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu presented Railway Budget 2016 in Lok Sabha Today. While the total investment is Rs 1.2 lakh crore, Railways is aiming revenue generation up to Rs 1.84 lakh crore without hike in ticket fares. 

LIC committed to invest Rs 1.5 lakh crore in Indian Railways. About 44 new projects covering 5,300 km have been announced. 

Centre didn't bother to care about fulfillment of any of the promises made to people of AP and Telangana at the time of bifurcation. 

Visakhapatnam was supposed to be declared Railway Zone last year itself. Even in this year's budget, There is no mention about it.

No announcement of New Trains/Railway Lines in Telugu States

No mention about funds for pending projects in Telugu States

What about Kazipet's Coach Factory & Amaravathi's Railway University?
