We all aware that Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan is owner of Kolkata Knight riders team but less known that he also co-owned a west indies based T20 team Trinidad & Tobago. Trinidad & Tobago franchise was co-owned by SRK and it has won the T20 title of Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
In 2015, Shahrukh Khan and company purchased the franchise and this year they decided to re-brand the franchise. Now the tram has rechristened as Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) from the previous name. Announcing the news the team management said that they are looking forward to expanding Knight Riders brand in Trinbago as well.
The logo of Trinbago Knight Riders was also revealed and it looks quite similar just like Kolkata Knight Riders have. Just the name of "Trinbago" is written at the place of "Kolkata".
