Earlier there were plans of remaking the 1994 Telugu hit film Hello Brother starring Akkineni Nagarjuna. Director Srinivasa Reddy and actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya teamed up for the film but it didn't materialized. The plans of remaking the film have been shelved and there was no news about the film since then. Now all of sudden a sequel for the same film was announced in Bollywood.
A sequel to the Hindi version of Hello Brother has been officially announced. Hello Brother was remade in Hindi as Judwaa with Salman Khan and the movie was a super hit at box office. Bollywood young actor Varun Dhawan all set to step into Salman's shoes for the sequel. Varun Dhawan's father David Dhawan will be directing the sequel and movie will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
